On Friday at work, there was a bridal shower for a friend who is getting married on 09/09/09. She's just 21, but I am proud of her as I have seen her grow in the last few months.
The soon-to-be-married one is in the middle.
It wasn't a big fancy shower, just nice to get with some co-workers, talk, see soon-to-be-married one open gifts, and have a snack.
Went crawdad fishing at Strawberry reservoir with my family and dogs. I'll have to post pictures later. Nice to spend time together and get away from things. No, I did not try any of the crawdads. I like sea food, this was not sea food.
My mom called me that her mother passed away over the weekend. I don't have a lot of sentimental attachment, she was a rather uncaring and harsh woman. My mom wasn't upset either. Funeral arrangements will be made here soon to go to Chicago.
